On holiday in Scotland recently, we took the opportunity to visit Skye Weavers, based, unsurprisingly, on the Hebridean island of Skye.
Using a bicycle powered loom they produce tweed as well as a variety of woollen products including scarves, wraps, blankets and throws.
We were talked through the whole process and how some of the colours are inspired by the beautiful surroundings.
Sarah had a go pedalling steadily helping to produce a centimetre or two of tweed!
